Giving comments regarding the appeals of Party of Regions representatives regarding the possible coalition increase to 300 votes and possible amendments to the Constitution of Ukraine, M. Tomenko, the Deputy Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine declared that taking into the consideration the political and emotional sides of the case it is rather dangerous. "Such a way of events development will characterize a high level of the power monopolization in Ukraine and it is dangerous for the democracy in our state", the politician emphasised.
"Though, the possible coalition with 300 votes is not a threat for the basic principles of the Ukrainian state", M. Tomenko noticed and added: "the biggest problem of the majority of politicians, representatives of V. Yanukovych team in particular, is that they have not found a time to learn the Constitution of Ukraine.
The Deputy Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine is convinced that declaration like those on new autonomies or the prolongation of the Russian Black Sea Fleet dislocation on the territory of Ukraine and finally promises that there would be several state languages one should scrutinize like "election or political declaration for the unlearned."
"The matter is that in order to withdraw all these basic things, it is necessary to overcome the way of Constitutional amendments not only in 226 and later 300 votes but what is even more important, such decision are to be adopted by the society on the National referendums", M. Tomenko informed.
Concluding, M. Tomenko suggested the present high-ranking authorities stop the political rhetoric, aimed against constitutional principles of the Ukrainian state and read the Principal Law of Ukraine and abide it.
